Baby Sign Time

Every parents dream is to understand their baby and thanks to the growing phenomenom of Baby Signing that dream can become a reality. Signing takes advantage of the fact that although babies cannot talk until they are about eighteen months old, they are capable of communicating their needs and thoughts by using sign language from about six months of age. The Workshops are aimed at babies the optimum age being between six and twenty-four months. The signs used are British Sign Language and a range of songs, musical insturments, props and lots of cuddly toys are used to keep the baby's attention.

New from August 2008.  Study the HNC Business by open learning, on days and times to fit in with your other commitments.  You will complete the HNC in 2 years, achieving a total of 12 credits.

Each HN unit is worth either 1 or 2 credits.  The 8 mandatory units give you a total of 10 credits, and you can select the remaining 2 credits from a range of around 20 units.

As an alternative, you may wish to study any of the component units as standalone courses.  Please contact your local learning centre manager for details.  The start date for the full HNC and for the individual units is flexible.
